5 Healthy Towns Foundation and our local partners are proud to be the recipient of a SportPort grant from Ralph Wilson, Jr. Foundation and the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan!
SportPort is a unique program located in 15 communities throughout Southeast Michigan. Youth between the ages of 5-17 will be able to borrow a variety of sports equipment at no cost to them or their families. Borrowers will be able to keep items or kits for two weeks. After two weeks, the youth will be able ‘renew’ their current item or return it and borrow something else! If an item is damaged it will be replaced at no cost to the borrower.
Our lending partners include Chelsea District Library, Chelsea Wellness Center, Manchester Wellness Center and Stockbridge Wellness Center. Youth from all five healthy towns can check out items from these different locations. You can see the different options at each site below!
